First Day of 8th Grade

 

Macen got to start a day later than Maddox since he is still at the middle school and a returning student. I'm hoping they get in a full year this school year without many hiccups. 

First Day of 4th Grade

 

Here's to full and healthy school year! He was ready to go back after a nearly 6 month break. Our district is doing a 4-1 school week so Mon-Thurs is in person and Friday is remote at home.

Hoping for a Full Season

We have been back on the fields for 3 weeks now. Maddox transitioned to the same club Macen joined last year. He is sporting a new number too. This past weekend was the start of the season but the boys had some friendly tournaments/tournaments the weekends before. It's great being back out there with them. We aren't sure how long they will get to play this fall due to Covid so we've told the boys to enjoy every game. The league plays in 3 counties and one county has already closed down their fields. 

3v3 Tournament

Maddox played in a tournament in Topeka this weekend with some players from previous teams. They ended in 3rd place. It's always great to see them play together and see the parents again. It's a relaxing tournament that gives them a little start before the fall season begins.

Another quiet birthday due to Covid. As always he was super excited for his birthday, lol. He is our little comedian, push the boundaries, smart kiddo and we love him. Happy Birthday Maddox!

4th of July

We had a quiet day at home since most public celebrations were cancelled. So many more fireworks going off in the neighborhood and surrounding area so we still got a good show in.

Staycation

Our vacation to Colorado was cancelled so we spent the week doing dome local things. We went to some parks, grabbed some lunch at a couple of places at City Market, had slashes and ice cream, went to the zoo, did an escape room and finished with some mini golf.
