Santa Found Them

It's wasn't far into the morning when I got my "Best Christmas Ever" line from Macen, lol. Mission complete! They were pretty ecstatic to get the 3ds games they wanted as well as the Nintendo Switch and games for it.

Family Gifts

The boys were less than impressed with multiple layers of wrapping paper and bubble wrap on the much anticipated 3ds games, lol.

I think Macen gets a hug every year from Maddox for his gift to Maddox. This year was a Star Wars Prog stuffs and blanket.

Cookies for Santa

The boys stuck with it a little longer this year. I'm pretty sure the only reason they participate every year is to lick the knives when we are done.

Jingles' Final Days

The boys weren't ready for Jingles to go (or the reindeer) but he left them some Christmas pjs and some blind boxes.

More Elf Funnies

This was a big hit! Only downside was having to get up at 5 am to do it so they would be glowing bright when the boys woke up.

Tree Decorating...and Undecorating

We got the tree decorated. Now the cats think the ornaments are balls to bat at and knock off. Every few days I put several ornaments back on and repeat, repeat. Surprisingly, they have not climbed it.

Futsal

Macen had his 2nd futsal game last weekend and while it went better than the first, he still isn't a big fan of it. He prefers to be out on the big field. It is taking him some time to get use to moving and kicking in a much smaller space.

Jingles Found Our New Home

Jingles made his appearance by ziplining over the kitchen table.

Hopefully the camera keeps the boys in line, lol.

The boys love mazes so this was right up their alley.

The boys are in love with Ty plush animals so Jingles brought them reindeers packaged in cute little bags.

Trick or Treat

Gengar from Pokemon

Jason. I had to take some time to mourn the days of cute and innocent costumes. He had mentioned a couple of years ago about wanting to do something scary the next year. But he chose Minecraft and I was giddy and then this year rolled around and it was a scary costume :(

Macen headed out to trick or treat with some friends so Maddox was stuck with us for the night.

Team Lightning

Macen's outdoor season ended with a tournament. They didn't get to advance to finals but what a team. This team is also mostly new kids and they have played great together from the beginning. So on to Futsal for Macen as well.

Muliti Colored Dragons

Maddox's outdoor soccer ended this past weekend. They played really well together considering it was mostly new kids. They were the dragons but they changed their color every week. Now on to Futsal.

Pumpkin Carving

Kept it simple this year, lol.

Weston Orchard & Vineyard

The boys had several days off from school so we headed to Weston to a newly opened place. They have apple trees, a pumpkin patch, corn maze and several fun things for kids to do. The boys loved the place and it will be great watching it grow the next several years.

His reaction when his younger brother beats him.

The winner's reaction.

They love bounce pillows!

The obstacle course ended with a zip line. It took Maddox a few tries to get it figured out. He didn't like that it abruptly ends and jerks you.

We wound our way through a small corn maze.

The corn pit was a close second fave. They said it made their skin soft after being in it. They didn't want to leave.
