Jingles

Jingles made a quick 2 day visit to the boys. Maddox loved it and wanted him to stay longer.

Sharpies & Rubbing Alcohol

The boys drew their design with sharpies on canvas and then sprayed some rubbing alcohol on it. The colors ran and blended. Cool finished product.

This is always a good idea.

Slugger on Zoom

We have lots of Zoom meetings each week between both boys' schools and Macen's soccer team. I think we are averaging around 10 a week. Maddox's class got a surprise appearance from Slugger. The kids got to ask him questions and he responded on a whiteboard. The kids enjoyed it!

Busting some eggs

After the boys' interest in dyeing cracked eggs last weekend, they did some egg throwing and then some clean up afterwards. They loved all of it - making a mess, throwing, hearing it bust, etc!

Monopoly

Macen patiently waited for us to play Monopoly while in quarantine. Dad was the winner!

School Days

School looks like this these days. We don't have a super scheduled day with James and I both still  working. They are doing what the teachers give them but other than that we are keeping it low pressure and low key. 

Dying Eggs

We spent Easter afternoon dying eggs. Maddox did some by rolling on the dye. Dad and Macen tried some the dye with cheesecloth. Macen then realized he could could crack the egg and get the inside a different color. Both boys found cracking the eggs the most enjoyable. So we know how we are dying eggs next year.

Easter

Maddox woke him up so they could hunt for eggs. He wasn't quite ready for the day even though he is an early riser.
