Winterfest

We braved the cold and survived, lol. Well done Worlds of Fun! Maddox was disappointed there weren't more rides open and he wasn't impressed with the shows but he enjoyed all the lights.

Deer Hunters

Both boys got a deer last weekend. Maddox got his on Saturday evening and Macen snagged his on Sunday morning. They were both pretty happy and so was dad.

Happy Halloween

Macen didn't want to go trick or treating originally. I told him to have a back up plan in case he changed his mind last minute. He did and he did! Hard to believe it took 7 years of playing soccer before he was a soccer player for Halloween.  I imagine this will continue to be the back up plan each year, lol. Macen headed to Leavenworth to trick or treat with friends while James took Maddox around our neighborhood since I wasn't feeling good. It was hilarious watching Maddox move and run in his costume.

Pumpkin Carving

Major fail this year! Not only are most of the pictures blurry but I forgot to get a picture of the final product. Ugh!

Weston Vineyard & Orchard

Tine for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. They didn't have many pumpkins but that didn't stop us from having fun. Mom picked some apples while the boys played too.

Apparently only one of them enjoyed this game.

They loved the slide but said it hurt coming down.

I think Macen has reached the height limit on these, lol. 

All.About.Soccer

We just finished our second weekend of soccer for this new soccer year. Macen is with a new club and it has been a good move for him. It's pretty amazing watching him on a bigger field. Maddox got to play up on an older team in a tournament this past weekend. They ended up taking 2nd place and it was a great experience for Maddox. He even got to wear big brother's old uniform (and number).
