Happy 10th Birthday Macen!!

Double Digits!! Not sure how this happened. He's growing up and maturing so fast! He got a couple of new games for his DS, a radio for his room, a Sporting KC shirt and a fidget spinner. The fidget spinner was the fave with the radio being a close second. And since he doesn't like cake, we stuck some candles into his favorite ice cream - vanilla. We love you Macen!

Birthday Party

Macen didn't want much for a birthday party. He wanted to be at home with a few friends and he wanted Coke and Doritos. So we made that happen. He had a great time with friends and that is what mattered the most to him.

It's Official!!!

It's finally ours! Cant wait to get inside and made it ours.

White Sox vs Royals

We headed up to Chicago for a Royals game. The boys were pretty excited to get an autograph from a rookie but even more excited when Maddox was able to get Cain's autograph. Macen didn't want to wait down there so he missed out. They proudly held their sign up hoping to get on tv. We ended up leaving early since the Royals weren't doing well and we had a 2hr drive back home on a school night. 

Monkey Maddox

He has watched Macen climb this tree for the last 2 1/2 yrs and decided he could do it too. He got pretty far up there and was very proud of himself.

Easter

I got to use my machine and decorate the boys' tin buckets. Love how they turned out!

I had to get clever since Macen is older and always finds more eggs than Maddox. Now its fair, lol.

And even more clever, I broke up a small Lego set for each of them and hid pieces in the eggs. It included the instructions in one egg and they got to build it after they found them all.
