Ugh, Fortnite! I hate the game but I love my boys. It was such much easier when I got to choose their costumes. Macen got to room the neighborhood with friends while we took Maddox around. We ran into Macen's group a couple of times. One of those times, Macen found us and said his tooth fell out while he was eating his candy and he lost it. It later fell out of his candy bag when he dumped his loot.

Macen is a Skull Trooper from Fortnite and doing one of the dances from the game.

Maddox is a Dark Voyager from Fortnite and flossing.

We kept it simple this year and went with a dog, boo and some dots.

Tournament

Maddox's team finished 1st in the league for their division. But they ended the season in a tournament and got themselves to the Championship game. They didn't win but they played their hearts out. I have been completely surprised how well they held their own the entire season. Including this tournament, they only lost 2 games overall. And both of those games where in this tournament and to the same team. That's pretty amazing for 7-9 year olds. Way to go team!

Fall Fun

We headed to the Historic Weston Orchard and Vineyard for some fall fun over the weekend. Much needed time away even though it was just a couple of hours.

He still can't figure out how to make the barrel work for him. He ended up like this several time unexpectedly, lol.

Royals vs Orioles

We took a break over the weekend from painting the deck to get in one last Royals game this year. Somehow we ended up with FREE premium parking - like the parking lot right across from ticket sales. Even though the Royals aren't doing well there were so many good plays during the game. Maddox even won a thrown shirt but dad told him to throw it back since it was a Chevy endorsement.  It was a pretty great day at Kauffman Stadium!
