Indoor Soccer

Indoor soccer ended last weekend and Macen got pretty good as goalie between Futsal and Indoor Soccer.

Spring Break

Crown Center

We visited some shops at Crown Center including Chip's Chocolate Factory. They were making fudge at the time so we got to watch the guy scrap, turn and flip the chocolate in the air. The boys ran around Funville but they were probably too old for it so we didn't stay long. They were having fun but they were probably the oldest kids in there, lol.

Science City

Hailee and Jenna stayed with us for the weekend so we met some other friends at Science City while the husbands went to a Beer Fest. It's all fun and games until you get stuck in an elevator. Maddox, Hailee and I got on the elevator to meet the other two when we got stuck. Thankfully, an employee was standing there but decided not to get on with us since there was another family with a stroller on. He noticed right away that it wasn't working so he got maintenance but they weren't able to open it at first. They went ahead and called the fire dept but was able to get the doors open before they came. So a pretty eventful afternoon for us all!

Peeps Challenge

We had Hailee and Jenna for the weekend so thought we'd try the Peep Challenge with them. They did pretty good. Macen was even brave enough to try them for the first time but he took itty, bitty bites until he knew he would like it.

Lion Fire Basketball

Maddox finished up his basketball season yesterday. I think he was ready for it to be done.

Kauffman Stadium

Maddox's class went on a field trip to Kauffman Stadium and I got to chaperone - total ulterior motives there, lol. We got to hang out in the dugout for a bit, viewed the visitors clubhouse, checked out the press room and press box. We got a tour of the Hall of Fame and a got a view of both World Series trophies. I think all Maddox took away from it was how many muscles are in his face while I learned some cool facts about the Royals. Both Macen and Maddox have now hung out in the Royals dugout and both at the rip age of 6 - pretty cool!

Happy Valentine's Day!

The boy's Valentines boxes. They didn't do this while in Indiana so I was pretty happy we got to do them this year. Macen's is very fitting for him. Maddox wanted a unicorn so we went with his fave colors - red and black.

Lion Fire Basketball

Maddox's basketball games kicked off this past weekend. He managed to not only score 12 points for the team but also stop mid game to cheese for the camera, lol.
