1st Grade Musical

 

Macen was a narrator in the musical. His class was representing sheep for Cock A Doodle Dandy. They were all pretty cute performing up there.

James' New Ride

We've been enjoying the Jeep since James got home.

 

 

He has bought some accessories for it and tried out the soft doors and top off.

Easter Afternoon at the K

and as Macen stated as we left the game "That was a good Easter".

 

I would like to say the boys did great during the game but they didn't. Maddox whined the whole time and Macen was constantly asking to go to the playground. At the 7th inning, we gave up on the game since the Royals were losing by a decent amount and headed to the play area.

But they did great here! They played and raced each other/other kids until they were exhausted.

 He also left them golden eggs filled with quarters.

Egg Hunt

He did great picking up eggs even skipping over a ton. However, afterwards he was a little upset his basket wasn't full. He has been a little spoiled the last two years with Grammy's egg hunts.

 

They both had fun!

We did traditional egg coloring and once they were done we did the shrink wraps on a couple.

Just found these on the camera from a couple weeks ago. The boys enjoyed it, especially Maddox since he could do it on his own.

Deployment, You Never Disappoint.

I almost made it through the deployment without car issues. So close! This time hasn't been as traumatic or dramatic as the 1st and 3rd deployments, just a nuisance. There are just some things you can always count on :)

Team Sharks

Macen had his 1st soccer game over the weekend. He's excited to be back out there. They did great for their first game. Macen got a goal in while 3 other kids were trying to block him right at the net. He was pretty proud to get it past all of them.
