Trick or Treating

 

The calm before the storm.

Maddox walked at first and wasn't big into saying trick or treat. If he did, it was quietly. After awhile he took a break and rode in the wagon. He got a second wind though and was all about saying trick or treat walking up to the houses. Macen ran into several adults dressed in Star Wars costumes and it totally made his night. They were great about interacting with him too and his response was always "That was awesome".

The table was pretty much full of candy. Maddox wanted everything open but he just wanted a few bites of each item. It was a perfect night for trick or treating and we all had a great time. I was shocked last year that people drove to our neighborhood to trick or treat but they really make it a great night for everyone. There are so many people that it makes it so much more fun and all the kids get to see a huge variety of costumes.
