Epcot

Our second day was spent at Epcot. There was a lot of character topiary here. We got to meet several characters and the boys got lots of autographs. We rode rides in the morning, ate in Germany for lunch then we headed back to the resort for an afternoon swim. We all enjoyed some downtime. We went back to Epcot that evening for our character meal with Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto. The boys loved having them come to our table and interact with them repeatedly.

This was a pretty cool ride (even if it was Chevy James said). We got to design our own cars on a screen and then you get in the car and went around a track (up to 64mph) and it let you know how the car you created did in the race.

Jedi Training

We were pretty excited for the boys to do this. They were trained as Jedi's then got to fight Darth Vader. Prior to going to Disney, Maddox had announced he didn't want to go anymore. When asked why, he said he didn't want Darth Vader to kill him, lol. We had to explain it was just pretend. Both boys said it was pretty cool to be on the stage with him.

Hollywood Studios

The first day at Disney World was spent at Hollywood Studios. Getting the boys enrolled in Jedi Training was priority. Once we did that we killed time by riding the Star Wars ride and meeting characters. The Storm Troopers pictured with Macen patrolled an area and occasionally stopped to interact with people. Macen's shirt caught their attention so James was able to get a picture. However, Maddox was drawn to these guys like a magnet. When we saw them, he would start following them and most of the time we would lose him in the crowd. Thankfully we kept an eye out and he would eventually stop and look for us but man it was like he was under their power or something, lol.

The boys got to build their own droids and light sabers.

This was the first character they met at Disney. They look pretty nervous so not sure if it was because they didn't know what to expect or because it was Kylo Ren.

Coloring Eggs

We used several techniques since we had a big batch of eggs. They squirted liquid koolaid directly on some, did regular egg coloring and each made a Yoshi egg (from Mario Bros) with a sharpie.

Purdue Ball Kid

It was Macen's turn to be the ball kid for a game. He said it was cool to be on the court and he really got into whole game afterwards.

The Children's Museum

The museum had some new features so we made a trip to Indy. The boys explored the Pirates and Princess room and really enjoyed the chocolate slide.
