We didn't get a vacation last year due to Covid and had planned on going to Colorado. So we made a quick trip to Colorado Springs and Denver over the Memorial Day weekend.
We spent some time in Manitou Springs before we got on the Cog Railway. Macen taught Maddox how to play pool.
Macen finished up 8th grade and Maddox finished 4th grade. They made it through the school year with going fully remote from Thanksgiving through New Year. Neither one got Covid nor were they quarantined due to close contact. All in all, it was a pretty successful year and they handled it like champs.
Hard to believe he is 14! I don't where the time has gone. He is now taller than mom and loves it! We are proud of the person he is and is becoming!
Macen finally got in a track season. It was great to see him out there running and doing his best. He improved his times throughout the season while running the 200m, the 4x100 and 4x200 relays.
James and Macen did a lot of reffing when the boys weren't playing soccer. I only managed to get a picture of James this time.
