Cold but Fun

The boys finally got in some snow time this winter. Goof balls wanted to be buried in it.

100th Day of School

 

 

Macen and I glued 100 googly eyes to a shirt for him to wear today. It turned out great but its pretty noisy. I kinda feel bad for his teacher, lol. Oops!

After a couple of helps from Macen, he refused anymore help and kept saying "me do it". I don't think he is quite ready though husband if he's going to close his eyes when he aims.

2 1/2 years old

 

We are well into the 2's and it hasn't been too bad so far. Haha! We have a little comedian on our hands. Maddox's quick wit doesn't miss a beat. Maddox is one determined little guy too. He doesn't think there is anything he can't do especially if Macen is doing it. His favorite words are "me do it" for everything. And boy can he pout! He drops his shoulders as low as possible, the bottom lip sticks way out and he hangs his head until he can find a corner to sulk in or a place to drop. Atleast he is a silent pouter for the most part, lol. He is doing great on the potty. We've been venturing out on errands with just underwear so I think we are almost done with pull ups.

 

Maddox knows about half of the alphabet letters, most colors and we are working on numbers. He currently counts 1,2,9,8 :) And if you ask him how old he is, he says 18. He speaks pretty clearly for the most part and he talks a lot.

 

He loves trains and legos right now. His tag line for anything is roni and cheese. Not really sure where that came from but he says it all the time and for anything. He loves tomato soup and has a sweet tooth like his momma. Maddox loves wrestling around with Macen. His imagination is kicking in and its pretty entertaining.

He must have partied too much last night and played too hard with friends from CO today because he didn't even make it to dinner before passing out.

Santa arrived!

 

Thanks to FaceTime, James got to watch the boys open their presents.

 

Macen was beyond happy he got Skylanders SwapForce.

This is Maddox's excited face, lol. We have been very busy for the past week and his naps/sleep has been compromised. It took him several hours to wake up Christmas morning. Ironically, Hexbugs is what he asked Santa for.

Opening presents must have been exhausting because he found the nearest seat and it happen to be right in front of dad, lol. The boys had a great Christmas!
