Shawnee Mission Triathlon

A good day for a race. An early start meant beating the heat which ended up being not so bad yesterday anyway. And a good course for pictures. I didn't get any great ones as he is coming into the finish. Macen had decided he was going to join James on the course and finish with him. A great idea until James came towards us and was neck and neck with another guy. I didn't want Macen cutting off the other guy so I was holding him back while trying to take pics. Macen was pretty proud of finishing with dad. Even to the extent of claiming for the rest of the day he is so glad he finally got a triathlon medal. He firmly believes not only is the medal his but he earned it. Haha!

Sick Baby

Sweet baby boy is sick (vomiting sick) for the first time ever. He spent an unheard of amount of time just laying on the floor. He hasn't been this still since he learn to crawl. When he wasn't there he was snuggled up with me or James. Hopefully it's just a small virus that will be over soon.

The End of Tball Season

Macen really enjoyed his first season of tball. He made great improvements over the course of 2 months. From getting upset that the ball wasn't hit to him every time to covering his position patiently. And most notably hitting the ball from the stand to being able to hit from a pitch. It's great to see such changes and him enjoying the game and teammates.

Wound Up Baby

Maddox was wound up and showing off for us today. The word boom enticed him to continue his antics even more. Not sure what got him so hyper but it was entertaining.
